Why You Should Add Shutters
There are many reasons why you should add shutters to your home if you are considering redesigning your windows. The first style that you may want to contemplate is our Heritance® hardwood shutter. These are made from 100% genuine hardwood, which lends itself to long-term performance. These can also be customized due to our wide selection of paints and stains. Additionally, if you are searching for a color that we don't already have, we can mix a color to match your existing decor.
Heritance® hardwood shutters are also great in that they can be used on windows of unusual sizes, which is another reason why you should add shutters This means that if you are looking to outfit a specialty shape, these can certainly be utilized. In terms of sustainability, each time one of our customers purchases a shutter of this style, Hunter Douglas will make a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation in order to preserve trees.
Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ shutters are another style that you may want to think about. As these are created from a UV-resistant material, these Hunter Douglas products are guaranteed never to warp, crack, or fade for the life of the shutter. These also use interior aluminum bracing for maximum strength, which is another one of the reasons why you should add shutters. Additionally, these come in a variety of colors, such as Bright White and White Silk.
The final style that we offer is NewStyle® Hybrid Shutters. The beauty of this style is that they combine the durability of man-made materials with the look of real hardwood. The UltraGrain™ finish that is used in the creation process also mimics the look of real wood. In shades such as Warm Amber and Toasted Honey, there is a beautiful color to accommodate any furnishings that also occupy the space. There are a variety of reasons why you should add shutters to your home, ranging from the aesthetic to the practical.
